I have experience with both children and adults. I use a person-centered, strength based approach and encourage my clients to be open and honest about their thoughts, feelings, beliefs, and behaviors in a safe and non-judgmental environment. My goal is help you navigate your own therapeutic process and life experiences. I offer LGBTQ affirmative therapy, providing therapy to those who identify as lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, gender non-binary, questioning, or queer. My mission as a counselor is dedicated to assist individuals on their personal, unique journey to healing and wellness. I provide a safe and supportive place in which you can work to determine and accomplish your goals, minimize stress. Working together, we will find the path that works best for you. My approach is eclectic, meaning that I tailor my treatment to you, your personal needs, treatment goals, and values.

For almost 20 years I provided home-based therapy along with school consultation before transitioning to clinical practice. I received my MSW, with a Certificate in Graduate Studies in Child and Adolescent Trauma in 2015. I enjoy working with children, teens, and families to help them understand and manage their emotions and behaviors in a supportive therapeutic environment.
 I use a warm and collaborative, strength-based approach to address your unique concerns and personal goals. This is done through utilizing a variety of therapeutic techniques. I have training and experience in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, mindfulness techniques, play therapy and Social Thinking. I have a wide range of specialties, enabling me to best support you, these include trauma, PTSD, Depression, Anxiety, ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Bipolar, Emotional Disorders, social skills, behavioral management, and parenting education.

Working with children, teens, and families in outpatient private practice and schools. I have training in Circus Arts Therapy and use a variety of expressive arts approaches. Experienced in working with developmental issues, self-esteem, trauma, anxiety, depression, grief and loss, Autism Spectrum Disorders, ADHD, behavioral challenges, and sensory disorders.

My clinical experience is extensive but you are an expert as well. We will work together on goals, to alleviate your pain and increase your hope. I am a level 2 EMDR trained Therapist and Certified Dance Mindfulness facilitator. Currently only Accepting children or women for Trauma-focus therapy & Play Therapy.
